TDN Security complies with cash limits as set out under
Schedule II of the Transport Industry - Cash in Transit
(State) Award 2002. Where the goods carried are valuables
other than cash, the method used is determined on an
individual security risk assessment under the parameters
set out in the WorkCover NSW Code of Practice - Cash
in Transit Industry.
TDN Security holds a certificate of currency from Lloyds
of London with current public liability insurance cover
for $20 million as per Security Industry Regulation,
1998 .
TDN Security is obligated under the NSW Occupational
Health and Safety Legislation to provide its employees
with the safest possibly working environment. A Security
Risk Assessment is performed on all work carried out
and where there is deemed to be risk of an armed hold-up,
TDN Security respectfully requests permission for our
staff to carry a firearm in a covert operation to deter
such an incident from occurring. If the worst case scenario
eventuates, this will only be used by our staff as a
last resort with which to defend them should such an
incident occur.
TDN also has staff qualified as per Certificate IV
in Security Risk Management through the Canberra Institute
of Technology. TDN Risk Management services are utilised
on a contract basis for our corporate clients to review
the security 'posture' of individual companies and identify
and report on risk and exposure that could be averted.
